Prize Money Payouts
In order to provide consistency and credibility to the weekly prize money allocations, the following guidelines will be observed when determining payout amount for Pro Shop credits.
- All monies collected on any Tuesday will be distributed that same day - no carry over of pool.
- For payout purposes, entrants shall be defined as individuals or 2 or 4 women teams.
- Players (on league days with more than 11 participants) will be divided into flights based on their handicap index. The determination of number of flights each week is calculated in the Golf Genius tool.
- "Prize Money Pool" size will vary from week to week dependent upon the number of entries. Special events and tournaments may have a different payout plan as needed.
- For the majority of the games, at least forty percent of the field will be paid. (There are a few exceptions, including Skins)
- Ties on regular league days will be broken using a scorecard playoff (USGA protocol*). Ties for major events may have different tie break methods including playoffs.
